Clinical Evaluations

Structured and evidence-based methods are used to assess a child’s or adult’s cognitive, emotional, behavioral, or psychological functioning. They are often recommended when someone is experiencing challenges related to mood, behavior, attention, learning, or development.

Forensic Evaluations

Customized juvenile and adult assessments for legal and administrative proceedings, e.g., general mental health and/or substance use, competence to proceed, pre-sentencing, mitigation, psychosexual, risk/recidivism, along with parenting capacity concerns. No matter the issue, I will provide an objective, court-admissible evaluation supported by more than 25 years of clinical experience. If I am not the best fit for you, I will help find you someone who is.

I offer expert witness testimony, consultation for attorneys, work-product review, and litigation support.

Three Step On-Boarding Process

  • The first step is a brief phone call or email exchange. During this, I will gather basic information, including full names and dates of birth for a conflict check, your reason for seeking an evaluation, and availability.

    ​Below is the information we request:

    • Type of case

    • County of case

    • All parties’ names and dates of birth, including any children

    • Names of attorneys representing each party

    • Service(s) you are looking to hire for

    • Any due dates, deadlines, or future court dates that I need to be aware of

    • Estimated number of records to review, if applicable

    • A copy of the court order, if one exists

  • Based on the information you have provided, I will schedule a phone call with your attorney to determine the next steps.

  • After the phone call, I may send a contract agreement and retainer request to your attorney. Once you have decided to move forward, you will sign the agreement if applicable and submit your retainer payment. All payments are nonrefundable.
