Dr. Michael Pilcher, principal of Forensic Counseling & Consulting Services, has maintained an active practice since 2001. Throughout his career, he has striven to provide quality services to individuals, couples, families, and the community. This culminated in being awarded both the American Mental Health Counselors Association diplomate in advanced clinical mental health counseling practice and clinical mental health counseling specialist in forensic evaluation. In addition, Dr. Pilcher proudly serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Child Sexual Abuse and the Journal of Aggression, Maltreatment & Trauma, and is a former editorial board member of the Journal of Family Trauma, Child Custody, and Child Development.

Dr. Pilcher earned his master’s and doctorate degrees in counseling and subsequently a master’s in psychology. He holds designations as a multi-state licensed clinical mental health counselor [FL | SC | TN | VA] and addictions counselor [FCB | IC&RC].
